I enjoyed a friendship with Arthur only during my three years of high school. I was lucky to know his parents and sister as well. Arthur could really make me laugh. He was fun. I hope he has had a good life. RIP

My very first date was with Arthur in 7th grade! His loss is poingnant for me. We occasionally went to events together throughout high school. He was a very good friend. We corresponded (remember actual letters?) while in college but lost touch after that. I am sad knowing he is no longer with us.

Art was an authentic individualist. He added a certain spark to all the classes we shared, and I grew to know him better during the three years we shared stands in Concert Band. When I was in the hospital in Carthage as a result of an accident just after graduation, he was the first classmate that visited me, bringing me a book to read. I always thought he used his wit as a cover for a sensitive heart. I've missed him these many years and I miss him now.

Although Arthur and I did not have much in common, we enjoyed visiting and sharing comments in the classes we had together.  Many people don't know just how witty and funny he was during class.

We lost connection with each other when we went to different colleges.  When I tried to connect with him later in life, I was sadly unsuccesful.

I recommend that the many classmates who recall Art's highly amusing comments in class google "Arthur Kungle Annapolis" and variations thereof. He became a lawyer and "civic gadfly." His wit continued to be sharp in city council meetings and in legal pleadings. Always nice to see that someone you never saw after high school kept their sense of humor and their personality intact.

I have always been amazed by the Class of '63 with the sharp minds, quick wits, diversity, and uniqueness of our classmates.  Arthur personifies all of those.  He was a good friend to all of us and always made us feel better  when our paths crossed.  He will be missed.
