Danny was a good gentle giant as I remember. Stood on his shoulders to paint "Class of '63" on shoal creek dam. See you later Danny!

Danny and I have been friends for a long time. We had lots of good times together up until he got sick.

RIP buddy and will see you later.

Danny was a good guy, always smiling, always with something funny to say.  We grew up not far from each other, and I knew his father well..  He will be missed by all...

"Wooly" was one of the most unique and most fun guys in the Class of '63!  He loved to put his helmet in my gut when I foolishly played football my senior year.  It made him laugh--which is all that I cared about.  Our Class and our world has lost another really good one!

Danny was a great and funny guy! I first met Danny in Mrs. Nichols first grade class, we sat next to each other in reading circle, he made laugh with his antics. Rest In Peace Danny!

I actually played football my Sophomore year, I was never any good at it. We had scrimmages during practice and I remember being terrified when I had to line up against Bob Henson or Danny because they were twice my size. However, both guys always took mercy on me and didn't hit me too hard. I was always thankful for that kindness. Thanks Danny, you will always be remembered as a class guy.
